Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Russ, and I'm from Maryland. Like most people I forgot all about bikes when I started driving at the age of 16, now 9 years later I finally decided to start riding again.
After doing a little bit of research I decided to go with the Trek 4500 (matte white) to start out with for trail riding. I've only had it for 1 week, and have taken it out 5 times, 3 of which included a major workout for my Boxer running along side me (and sleeping the rest of the day). I almost forgot how much of a workout you get on a bike, and how much fun it is.
Anyways, this seems like a good place to learn things, and ask questions if need be.
First question... Did I make an ok choice for a starter mountain bike?
Hopefully I'll learn a thing or two here, and look forward to riding again.
Thanks everyone
