Hi from Bruce in Athens, GA
Hi,
I just joined the forums today. I'm posting here since it was suggested in the welcome email from the moderator. I started riding Dec. 2006...mostly a weekend warrior with a few weekday rides thrown in now and again. I ride a 1999 Trek 4500 aluminum hardtail frame on which I've replaced most of the parts. Current setup:
Fork: 2004 Marzocchi Marathon S (105mm)
Brakes: Shimano v-brakes
Drivetrain: Shimano Deore Hollowtech II crankset & BB/SRAM cassette & chain/Alivio front derailleur/stock rear derailleur
Seat: WTB Laser V
Tires: IRC Mythos XC Racing (about to buy some Panaracer's - Fire 2.1 rear and Rampage 2.35 front)
Rims: Stock. Not sure of the brand, but they have held up well so I'll ride 'em til they break.
Favorite Trails: FATS, Tsali, Ft. Yargo, Chicopee, Clemson/Isaqueena Lake Trail
I am considering buying the Nashbar "Black Ice" frame so if anyone has this one, please let me know your opinion of it:
