I recently retired and decided to get a road bike(Motobecane, Record) to ensue continued exercise. I ran for many years but have not been too active for the past two years. I rode a Royce Union off and on until this July when I got most of my Motobecane as a retirement gift. I average 100-125 miles a week now on local streets.

Looking forward to learning and asking technical questions and contributing when and where I can.

Nice bikes there sir! And congratulations on your retirement. I am a long time commuter - ok, kinda hardcore kinda gurl so I have to say I love MOST about bicycling - (cept the heavy city traffic). Personally I'm looking into a mobocane to commute with myself. You would best find more info on your bikes and questions in the vintage forum in this place. This place is huge btw - lots to offer and yes, people do respond to your questions.

Hey - BookFinder - anyone can give a great handshake!! AND point the person in the right direction! For several years I was the Publicity Director for my local bicycle club and I perused some of these forums looking for anyone in search of anything my area and would point them wherever (had many people searching for trail info, hotel info etc) - and so it was cool to help anyone out.
