Hello
Hey there all,
Just wanted to introduce my self.
I'm new to this forum, very veteran to bikes. Been riding frequently since 1983. Did a little MTB racing in the middle late 1990s. Rode the STP once. (2 day)
Currently teaching my kids how to ride and spending a lot of time fixing dumpster saves for gifts to the cause of transportation cycling, or if I'm lucky resale to fund more parts.
A forum member J mentiod the place. I checked it out and found it very good.
Pleased to meet you all.
Best regards and happy riding.
Allan

Hi CbadRider
Most of the time now days, I ride a rigid front end Diamond Back that I found. It doesn't require any thought, just hop on and go with the sons. They are budding distance riders. I am really surprised a 7 and 9 YO child can ride over 20 miles of unpaved rail trail and fire road on a single speed.
I have a lot of bikes. Love them
Kona Explosif Reynolds 853
Schwinn Peloton Reynolds 853
Schwinn Paramount PDG Tange OS
Centurion LeMans RS in Tange #2 Commuter conversion. Fenders, rack, commuter bars, bar shift
Diamond Back Response in True Temper AVR
Diamond Back Ascent in True Temper AVR Commuter conversion also, rattle canned fenders off a rusty Huffy, rack, riser bars.
I acquire and dispose of bikes frequently:
recently
A Raleigh Record step through frame
A Dasani Chinese 10 speed
A Huffy Cruiser
A Shogun 3 speed
A Schwinn Suburban with free wheeling crank
A Puch
A Schwinn World
A Schwinn Le Tour
Many low end mountain bikes for parts or donation
It go's on.
