I live in Alexandria, very close to the Mt. Vernon trail. I bike commute to work in downtown DC. I love it -- I actually look forward to my commute each day! This will be my first winter doing the bike commute. I am hoping to make it through at least December before wimping out due to the cold. I also like to bike with my kids. We have a trailer, and as soon as my 6-month old is 1 year , I'm looking forward to getting a double trailer for her and my 3-year old and exploring some of the other bike paths in the area. I'm looking forward to sharing info about commuting and biking with kids. Thanks,
