Greetings from Texas
Howdy all, I'm oilcrash. I live in the North Dallas area. I am new to cycling and bicycle maintenance. I got the bug for it while on a deployment in Iraq. I had an old mongoose ATB that had been passed from soldier to soldier. I have 4 older bikes I am working on including an '83 Peugeot, two Univegas (Activa 200 and Supra Sport) and a Motobecane Nomade II (made in China).

Hi! I'm new to cycling and in the DFW area too. Now that the rain has stopped get out and explore the bike paths - I've been surprised at how extensive they are. Of course, convincing cars that indeed the road is clearly marked for bike traffic is another story, https://cycledallas.org/ has lots of info and is a good place to start. and https://bikedfw.org has tons of info and a listing of local clubs in and around the metroplex. Welcome to town! -Shelley
