Hello Everybody !
Since I retired I have started to ride a bike.I have a knee that prevents many other activities, biking is possible as long as I keep it relatively flat.I have found a Univega at the dump that I am riding and another Univega that I am restoring.I hope to use this forum for assistance.I haven't ridden or wrenched since I restored an old bike as a kid.Now that I'm an old coot I remember how much I enjoyed working on bikes and wonder why it took so long to begin again.Thank you all for any advice you may give me.

Old??? You're just a kid. I'm 1-1/2 years older than you but I'm not old.
Good luck with the restoration(s). Stop by the Bicycle Mechanics forum for technical info, the Classic & Vintage forum for support, and the 50+ forum to talk with the "old folks".
Be sure to post some pics when you're finished with the bikes.
