Howdy

Hello,

Long time solo rider who occasionally peeks in here to see what other riders are doing. Figured I'd become official. Been a commuter off and on for about ten years, but have picked it up in the last year. I ride a 12 year old Scott AFD303 Road Series that I purchase new. Its two sizes too big for me, but it works. Reading posts here to get me pumped up to maybe start fixing up some old bikes and help me through these cold winter months in Phoenix (I know I sound like a wimp but I really hate the cold and would take 120 any day).

Welcome to Bike Forums!

Do you have some old bikes to fix up, or will you be looking for some?

Thank you,

Currently I'm working on a 20-30 year old 3-speed schwinn I got from a neighbors garage sale. I've got it up and running but want to tinker more with the parts. The derailer is gone, I'd like to replace that. It's just a cruiser, fun to ride around the block. Although, it is my wife's now and she likes it the way it is. So I'm looking to get another junker to mess around with cause I'd like a cruiser myself. After that I'd like to modify and/or build a new road bike.
