Out of shape guy in Florida
Hi Y'all,
Just came across the forum while looking for a good home for a Trek 610 rd bike. So I guess I should be nice and say hi while I'm here!
I don't have a lot to say at this point in time,
which is really not like me. 
It's been so long since I have been able to ride that the saying "if you haven't done it in ten years, you haven't done it at all" really does fit me in here. I can't recall any of the parts I had on my Trek, etc. That really is sad. 
I can't believe that I used to log hundreds of miles a year and even continued to ride everywhere after buying my first car and now I'm in here trying to find a home for that bike. Well, one of these days I'll be back on my feet and will be out there getting into trouble once again.

It's always tough to get back into a sport after being out of it for a while. Have you thought about taking up cycling again?

Hi,
Yes, I would love to be able to ride again, I tend to ride my Mtn. Bike more due to the streets, trail condictions where I live, but if I lived a little farther south it's all road bikes and smooth streets.
But right now I am dealing with recovering from a surgery and other health problems that really put a damper on doing any of the sports I use to do. I hate to sould like so many other people, but "one day" I'll be back on the road.
