Not a newbie
I began serious cycling in '83 with an amateur cycling team in southern Spain. I've been active in cycling ever since touring, TRIs, BI, racing, randonees, commuting etc. I've worked as a mechanic for many years and have supported bicycling advocacy in many different ways.
All of my bikes are pre-89, with my Bridgestone T700 having the most miles (over 50,000). I'm a roadie, but have mountain biked and on occasion cyclocross. I live in Iowa now, but while living in Washington state averaged over 7,000 miles per year for 10 years. Ruffinit |
