Hello from Beech Mountain North Carolina
Hi everyone from 4589 ft above sea level in beautiful NC.
I am turning 60 next month and started road biking up in the mountains again last year.
I am looking for some advice in my search for my next roadbike.
I have it narrowed down to a Trek Madone 4.5 triple oe Specialized Roubiax Elite triple. Very similar bikes with full 105.
Does anyone have any feedback to help break the tie?
I am 6'1" and 195 lbs if that maked=s any difference. I am not looking for a comfortable ride to do about 100 miles a week on mountain roads.
Thanks

Welcome to BikeForums.
Stop by the 50+ forum and ask the "old farts" what bike they'd recommend. Or you could ask the young roadies in the Road cycling forum.
Personally I'd pick the Specialized. Never cared for Trek.

Brand doesn't matter to me.
How it fits and rides for you is most important.
The service from the bike shop is also an area to consider.
A friendly shop can be of great help for questions and warranty service.
