Hello from Southeastern NC

Hello,

I'm a basic bike rider who is commuting a lot more to work with a bicycle these days. I'm loving it too! I'm mechanically inclined when it comes to cars and commercial equipment with gasoline and diesel engines. I've done basic bike repairs through the years and find the technology with bikes is increasing at a rapid rate. I hope to learn from many of you as well as contribute when my knowledge increases. Thank you for allowing me to participate!

Cheers,
Mountainwave

Welcome to BikeForums. What bike(s) do you ride?
SE NC? Pembroke? Lumberton? My grandparents were from Pembroke. Nice area but very humid/muggy in the summer.

Hi Ron,

I'm in the Wilmington, NC area; however, I know where Pembroke/ Lumberton area is. It is definitely a hot and humid area. I'm thankful we do have an ocean breeze in the Port City. As far as mountain bikes, I have a Diamond Back WCF that is getting old. I've asked some advice on it, but I posted to the wrong forum.

Decater, Ga. ? I visited there a few years ago when attending a conference. Any good trails around that area?
