Hi - I'm Mike, from the Philadelphia PA area.

I decided in March of 2010 that the time was right to add a bicycle back into my life, having not ridden since about 2003. I started with a Specialized Hardrock that's been pretty fantastic, and I'm putting way more mileage on than I'd ever thought possible at the outset. I'm also starting to learn my way around actual trail riding thanks to some more experienced friends.

I'm here at BikeForums because of the fantastic things I've heard from others about the content and helpfulness of this site. I don't know a whole lot about bikes yet, but I learn pretty quickly. I look forward to being able to help others someday as you folks will doubtlessly help me.

Also, as an aside - I work (and have for a few years) in a nutrition/supplement store - so if you've got any questions on that front I'd be happy to help.
