Hi im larry in south carolina. 52 yrs old, i started riding as an adult in 89 or 90 in the National Guard. I was in Fort Stewart Ga. and wanted a faster way to get around than walking.so i went to the pawn shop and got a 30 dollar Huffy 10 speed. I still have it. it has the Hurret gear train. then one day a guy at work had a Nashbar 12 speed road for 100 bucks i got it and have put 2 new rims and spokes a brooks saddle, handlebar mirror and speeometer on. over the years i have collected many bikes. i have 11 right now. all old. a Gitane mertix frame 27", a hercules 26", an american made rollfast 26, a Trec 470 fast track, a Giant at740 , Specialized Hard rock, 2 Dave Scott ironman road bikes, and others . my usuall ride is 5 or 10 miles.
