New rider, late to the game
Hi. I've decided to get into cycling to both lose weight and gain back some of my stamina. I'm a big guy (285#), and my knees are none to happy from wrestling in HS and other stupidities.
I'm looking for a bike now, specifically an older, steel frame road bike. The roads around me are packed with bikes, so I know there are places to ride. And the older steel frame because a) I'm cheap
and b) I'm fat

Hi, Welcome and best of luck with the wt. loss. Falcons are good bikes and although they are definitely english they provide some nice riding at a good price point.

Honestly, I'm more focused on cardio. As little as 5 years ago I was in a marathon training program - I was slow, but steady. Now I can barely walk up the steps. Had a physical - heart good, just need to get my ass in gear.
