Back in the saddle again...
well almost. I grew up In Texas and Oklahoma with my dad taking on centuries and and bicycle commuting, I thought it was cool. He gave me his bike, an old trek 600 with shimano 600 group, while I was in college. I fell in love and wrecked the rear wheel while attempting my first century on 9/16/2005. Being in college I was broke and had to give up cycling in the intrest of keeping myself fed.
Now out of college, working full time, married and paying for a house in Colorado, I need to get back into the saddle. The boss...er...wife has okayed a budget of about $1000 to build a new bike this winter. Hopefully I'll be ready by the spring.
