Hello everyone my name is Brady, I am 20 years old and I live in Zanesville, Ohio and go to Ohio University Zanesville. I joined the site to learn about some biking because my mom gave my bike away (huffy so nothing dramatic) so im on the search for a new bike. I'm looking for something to get around the big campus in Athens Ohio and wondering what kind of bikes are good for that. I'm mostly interested in BMX bikes which I don't think would be a big problem because all the bike trails in Athens. I'm more of a skater than a biker because of a bad experience with a BMX bike at the skate park, so i just like the style of the BMX bike. heres some links on some bikes i found on Craigslist. I really like the Redline one but if the Diamondback is a good bike it would be worth the $35 its posted for. I'm mostly looking to buy used because i figure if i find a good deal it would be cheaper than buying new. I know craigslist isn't to good of place to buy things from but if someone don't mind looking at some posts i found the advise would be great. im like 6' something and 155lbs if that helps. Welcome! I am new to geared bikes, so can't advise you , there are a bunch of riders here that can help you select a good
bike. My only segestion is don't make it real flashy & eye catching, thieves snatch them first. Camo it with fake rust paint &
the best locks , chains & cables you can afford . Good luck your education quest & enjoy life .
