Newbie here, need a little help/advice.
I'd like to do my first triathlon next summer. Although I'm not worried about the swim and run, I'm 6'10" (209 cm) and athletic and don't have the first clue on where I'd purchase a road bike that might fit me. Does anyone know where I could purchase a bike online that would fit someone of my size. (I live in Japan but am military, so shipping would be doable to the FPO address.)
Is it even possible to get a bike to fit me? I've looked online but can't find anything much over 64 cm, and I'll need a good bit bigger than that. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Welcome to Bike Forums.
Since you're a bike newbie I'd suggest you get your first bike from a bike shop. They'll probably have to special order the bike. They can do the fitting and make sure everything is dialed to you.

Thanks for the info. Living in Japan, where there aren't really any tall folks, it's especially difficult to get something like what I need even special ordered from a shop.
I'll give the Zinn link a look -- many thanks.
