Hello
Hi everybody. Just a quick introduction. I will be 45 this May and have been of my bike (Lemond) for nearly 3 years now. After getting quite fat and miserable, I have decided to get back into cycling again which I did love but lost passion for reasons I am not sure of. I rode the 24 Hr of Booty in Charlotte, NC about 3 years ago and a number of charity rides (Tour DE Furniture, Tour of Tangle wood, MS 150 break away to the beach) I must admit, I am kinda scared of getting started so I have my bike stripped down and getting ready to give her a good clean. Any motivation will be much appreciated.

Welcome to Bike Forums.
Look in the mirror. That's what I do for motivation.
Good luck getting back into riding and with the weight loss.
Got pics of the bike?

welcome to the forums.
goodluck with getting back into cycling.
my advice is if you have cold winters then try to ride through them if u can. I find im more motivated for the warm months after the cold ones.
