You guessed it! I'm Vincent from Paranaque, the Philippines. I have an XTC Giant SE3 Pro and slowly, I'm building my strength and stamina for cross-country biking and hopefully, compete in XC competitions here (or in Canada...I'm waiting for my immigration papers
) someday. Looking forward to joining some of the threads here. Mabuhay!(That's Filipino for 'Long Live...')
BTW, 'Kamusta' was derived from 'como esta'. Take it from there...

Mabuti naman. Welcome. Hey Vince, how's the traffic in Parana-Q?
There are a few PI folks that lurk the forums. Let us know how the riding is back there in your neck of the woods, so to speak.

Nice to know that there are other Filipinos into cycling..........I'm a brand new roadie, sorta............I took it again up after more than 15 years of absence........... My new ride is a Giant OCR 1. Love it!!! Now, being from upstate NY, rides are getting shorter at this time.........I use my cyclops rollers to satisfy my cravings when I can't ride out.........
My other bikes are not as great but they do the job......1982 Schwinn Super LeTour and '00 Mongoose Switchback.
I also bought myself some tools and a repair stand..........Used to love high performance cars but now my love for speed is satisfied by biking............I drive a '92 Accord EX Wagon (better suited for me as I can throw my bike inside protected from the elements).
Hope to hear from you,
Jojo
