Been lurking from time to time, decided it was time to join.
I am from Iowa, family lives there, I am currently working in Colorado, will be there for the next 12 months. My bike is a 02 Giant Cypress sx Hybrid, took it with me. I will likely ride mostly hard surface trails, since it isn't really suited to MTB riding.

My project is my 02 Giant Cypress SX, I picked it up last year in original condition for next to nothing. It is being stripped down to be powder coated, when it goes back together I have Ritchey carbon rizer handlebars, Ritchey Comp headset, Shimano XTR rear shifter (front will be left off) and Rock Shox Tora TK w/poplock forks, WTB Pro Gel seat, and a set of Vuelta 700c wheels to replace the o.e. parts.
Powder coater is swamped right now and it will likely be the end of Feb. before I get the frame back.
