Hello from the high desert of Arizona
I came to your site via "Stumble Upon", looks like just what I've been looking for. I have been a cyclist for 60+ years and am now retired living in Dolan Springs AZ. Plenty of trails for off road cycling. Nice dark skies for my other interest, Astronomy.
I'm working on a idea for a offroad quad cycle, and a trike for touring. Wedgies are getting too uncomfortable. I have been looking at using bamboo/CF/epoxy frame building methods. Only problem, not too much bamboo in Arizona.

Welcome to Bike Forums!
There are a couple of bamboo bike threads in the Framebuilding forum, you can probably find out where to get bamboo (several places in SoCal sell it).
Stop by the 50 Plus and Touring forums and say hello.
