Hey great web site I have been looking everwhere for a place like this on the web where I can ask Questions. This is probably a really dumb question but could someone explain the veiws option to me. I have just recently got into Mt.Biking and was totaly overwelmed by all the different brands and products out there. My last Mt.Bike was a Precission from the Sears cataloge. As I didn't know anybody to talk to about what was a good bike I did most of my research by looking in as many shops as possible and asking the employees, what they probably thought were a lot of dumb Questions. I also bought a lot of bike magazines. I setled on a Rocky Mt. Fanatik, because I liked the ride. It was also reasonably priced. It will be nice to talk to somebody other than a salesman about products that I am curious about.

Are talking about the Thread View options?

Show user's signatures in their posts? yes no
Do you want your signature to be shown in your posts?

Show user's avatar in their posts? yes no
Do you want your avatar displayed?

Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts? yes no
Do you want to display images that others have posted? They may slow down a 56k connection.
Selecting no will show a hyperlink instead.


If you mean View New Posts at the top of each page, that displays all new posts since last time you logged in.
I think that's right isn't it Joe?
Default Posts per Thread:
Number of posts that are shown on one page of a thread.
Number of days of post to be shown.
FYI: I have mine set to 5 days.
