what's up Bike Forums,
I just moved back to Minnesota after spending two years skiing on Mt. Hood & have decided to use biking as a means to fill the massive hole left by skiing. There are 85+ miles of trails around me and since I'm not all about riding on the side of roads (cars give me a bad feeling), I've been ripping around getting to know the trail system. I like to go fast and love the ability to hop off & go exploring if I see something worth checking out.
Right now I've got an old Schwinn World Sport my friend & I turned into a single speed a couple years ago... here's the only picture I have:

It's a fun bike because it goes fast, but the front brake is the only brake & it doesn't work so well & I have to control speed using my foot on the back tire, hahaha... I'm hoping to use this forum to help me cobble together a much better bike out of individual components.
Thanks in advance for all the help!

Howdy and welcome to the forums! Going fast and no brakes makes me worried for ya, be safe out there, lots of info to get your bike fixed up and lots of great folks to bounce ideas off of.
