Ok, so I'm not actually Scottish, but I do look the part. If you see a rather inept commuter going to or from campus on a MTB sporting a red ponytail coming out of the back of the helmet, wave hi!
If you see me on the new road bike I really want but don't have the money for, buy me lunch, as I probably haven't had anything but Ramen and PB&J for a while. (Thanks to folks on the road bike forum for the advice.)
OBStory: Was very nearly hit about a month ago while coasting to a stop at a red light in the bike lane. The lady was apparently intent on her McBreakfast. Didn't have a horn or signal, so I settled for a hearty "F*** OFF!". A screeching of brakes, an apology from her window, an apology for language from me, and a happy ending was reached.
