Hiya from hawaii

Hi I'm from santa monica, california but because of my job I am living here in Oahu, hawaii.

I like single speed bikes which is sad since so far I have yet to see one in bike stores.

I joined so that I can build a bike of my own by the end of the year.

Welcome Sam. Depending on how you're going to do it (from new frame and parts vs. used) you'll find excellent help in the Fixed and Singlespeed Forum, Classic and Vintage, and Bicycle Mechanics. Whatever you do, be sure to post pictures. We love pictures. Best of luck!
