Hello from Vienna!
Hello to everyone!
I am seventeen years old, I live in Vienna, Austria and I happen to be interested in bicycles and cycling, which I assume most people reading this also are interested in. The aforementioned interest exists since a little more than two years, but it rose about one month ago after five days of mountain biking during a "sports week" organized by my school. Shortly afterwards, I started commuting to school (a higher technical secondary college) by bicycle (12km one way), which I had already done before, but only very irregularly.
My only bicycle is a rather boring but solid and utilitarian hybrid bicycle I own since two years. It has an unsuspended steel frame, derailer gearing and it is fully equipped with dynamo lights, mudguards, a chainguard and a luggage carrier. The bicycle is pretty much all-black except for the actual lights (which would lose their function if they were black), hubs, spokes and rim sidewalls. Generally I am fine with my bicycle, but my next commuting bicycle would probably have hub gears and less black parts in favour of more metallic-coloured ones.
Cheers,
irgendwas
