New Guy in Utah
Hello - just joined the forum looking for some information on some knee pain I've been experiencing lately. I just moved back to Salt Lake City, where I went to college, after spending the past 6 years in NJ. I did a lot of road biking in North Jersey and PA, but I'm glad to be back in Utah where I can spend a little more time on the mountain bike. I have a Cannondale CAAD 5 that I put together from parts salvaged on EBay, and a Fisher Mt. Tam that I built the same way about 7 years ago - kidneys surprisingly still intact with all that aluminum, and now nothing else feels right!

Honestly JavaMan there isn't any weather here anyway! There have been a lot of storms in the mountains, but in town it's been about 45*-50,* with just a little rain and wind, so nothing to really worry about. I was up in the mountains in Idaho over the weekend and we got a foot at the cabin, but absolutely nothing at the lower elevations there either. Weird winter so far. . .

Welcome CAAD5AL from another Utahn. I live in Sandy and work near the airport. A few of us who work at by the international center ride to Saltair during lunch or ride around the airport on a 21 mile loop. Today two of us went for a ride in the rain ion the 40 degree temp. Had a lot of fun anyway!
