Hi, there. Ferdinand from New York here. I've been an occasional reader of the forums; but I registered just last week, in order to post a question about a route near New York that I had been interested in.

I commute to work almost every day, going 10 miles each way. And, on weekends and hot summer days (the hotter the better), I try to ride all day. Recently I hit 100 miles in a day for the first time (previous high had been 70); and I did 87 miles in a day last week.

Even though I hate the winter, I pushed myself to continue to ride to work every day during that horrible season last year. This was the first time I had ever done that; and it was NOT FUN at all. But it did help me stay in shape. I recently lost a lot of weight; and I didn't want to risk putting any of it back on. So biking 20 miles a day on most weekdays was very helpful towards that end.

The question about the site: I don't see how it's possible to post while using the site via the mobile-phone interface. If someone knows how this is done, please let me know. I'd be most appreciative.
