Hello from Texas/Netherlands
Hey guys. I am a native Texan currently on a one year assignment in The Netherlands. The wonderful bicycle infrastructure in The Netherlands encouraged me to get back on the bike after a 18 year layoff. Getting back on the bike made me wonder why I quit! Well, my fitness level is not where it was when I quit, but I will get here. I turned 50 this year and weigh in at 245. Goal is to lose at least 50 lbs in the next 12 months.
I own a 2012 CAAD 10-3, a 2012 Cube LTD Pro and my first road bike, a made in the USA, Cannondale Criterium 3.0 of 1990 vintage. I look forward to participating in the forum.
