Intro
Hi all,
I live in a beautiful part of Europe where I cycle partly for pleasure, partly for fitness (when we're young, we try to kill ourselves, when we're old, we try to live for ever).
Bicycles: Peugeot, St Étienne, Guimard, Motobécane, and a Talbot mixte. All old steel framed ones, to which I've fitted aluminium wheels so they will stop when you want them to, and the fattest tyres that will fit in the forks (28mm usually) since I ride mostly off the bitumen on tracks.

Thanks for the welcome. This seems to be a pretty active forum, with some good info, so if I don't learn something here, it'll be my fault.
