Hello, from Baltimore Maryland

Hi all,

I've been lurking for a long time here at bikeforums.net and I feel that now would be a good time to introduce myself. I am a road bike enthusiast with a strong affinity to low-key and somewhat retro bicycles.

I live in Baltimore, Maryland. My front yard is Patterson Park (for those that know the area). My main rides are an 80's Bianchi and an old Schwinn that I recently converted to fixed.

Here's a link to my fixie on fixedgeargallery (https://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2004/h/trivelli.htm).

Hey Angelo,

I am also in Baltimore. I rode to the BikeJam Kelly Cup Races last year at Patterson Park.
I also ride around the Park occassionally; but gets boring going in circles. I am riding the B&A Trail to Annapolis mostly as the City motorists are crazed.

Hi wildjim

Yes, bikejam is cool event!

I frequently ride these roads... erdman, lake montebello loop (great for intervals!), perring pkwy, belvedre ave, harford rd, belair rd, charles st, joppa rd, as well as Gwynns Falls and NCR trails. I find that Baltimore is generally friendly to cyclists during non-rush-hour times (compared to other cities, at least). Saturday mornings are especially mellow.

I really like the www.bikewashington.org routes. I will try to post a trip report with photos sometime.
