Just thought I'd finally join this forum instead of lurking. It's been a pleasure reading what everyone here as to say and I've definitely picked up a lot. My brother got me interested in biking to begin with, and so far all I've done is mountain biked at the local state park. I love biking in general, and bike amount 7/10 of a mile to class each way (very short commute..I like it somedays; but a lot of the time I wish it was farther) and hate using a car when I have to. I use a decent Raleigh M80 for the trails and a nasty NEXT Target bike for commuting..I'm interested in getting into road biking, but am torn between getting a road bike for commute here (so I can use a bike 80% of the time) or a hybrid (I have my sister's old Trek 750? I believe, at home), since Kirksville's streets are pretty rough. I decided to join so I could get some input later on and help if needed.

Many commute on road bikes.

I have toured and pulled a trailer with mine.

Very nice, I love the use of space on the second bike. If I ever become interested in some longer journeys on my bike, I'll definitely look at that for inspiration!
