Hello from Ohio
Well here it is! I live in Ohio. I live right along the Ohio to Erie trail near the halfway point. Love to ride! Im not much of a "speed freak" but more of a touring/recreational rider. I've been in the fire service for a little over 12 years and honestly can't remember life before it. I have been very lucky. I have a wonderful wife, great kids, and feisty grandkids.
As far as the cycling bit. A average about 1200-1500 miles a year, give or take. Not big on the mountain bike thing, more into road. I have always loved to ride, and was lucky enough to grow up in the 70's and 80's before the aluminum and carbon exidous. Funny thing, the more i ride the newer rigs with super light frames and high tech componets, the more I miss a bike with a "personality" Like cars, I miss the days when each manufacturer had its own look and feel.

Is that near Toledo? I just came back from a trip out that way. It is an interesting area, lots of history all around. But it is so flat all around, I think I would miss my hills.

I actually live in London, just west of Columbus, in Madison County. It is flat but great views and wonderful weather. I can say this, the wind pushing across the open ag. fields more than make up for the hills at times!
