My name is Travis.Im 45 years old I live in Salisbury N.C.I have always loved bikes.Mountain bikes are my favorite.Just never have had the nerve to hit the road.

Hey cliffd...., Mountain bike lover here as well. I enjoy getting off road and seeing what might be there. I don't mind the pavement and in fact have ridden a ton this winter. But give me single track anyday.

Welcome Travis. I'm 68 and have never owned a mtn bike. I love my road bikes.
When I lived in Atlanta it was a challenge sometimes. Now I live in Florida and roads and paved trails work for me.
Maybe you need to take a bike safety course from the League of American Bicyclists.
