Another from Seattle
Hello! I just got a new (used) road bike, so I figured I could join the forums after a few weeks of lurking. I am a student at the UW here in Sunny Seattle. I'm going to start riding the Burke-Gilman trail to get in shape and later I might join in on some of the Cascade bike club rides. Eventually I want to convert my bike into a fixie after I get a nicer road bike, but that's all in the distant future.

I used to live in Seattle. Great place to ride. I'll be in town this weekend and I'm going to the Seattle Bike Expo. You should check it out. Lot's of good deals on gear. Cascade Bike Club puts it on. Yu can go to their website to check it out. Good luck.

Thanks. I've seen some signs around here for the bike expo, and I was definitely thinking of going. Sounds interesting!
