Hello everyone
Hi my name is Mike. I live in CT and I don't exactly love Gin. Any way I bought a bike from bikesdirect.com (the windsor wellington 3.0) and I realize its not the best and I probably missed out on the knowledge from the LBS but I plan to ride the gears off the thing. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about biking and just enjoy the sport as much as possible. I started biking to supplement my running. I have an ankle that is injured and I can't run every day but I figure biking can help me out with my fitness goals. Thanks for you time and knowledge hopefully we can ride sometime. Peace!

I realize what I didnt say...Biking is sooo much fun ...bombing hills and busting ur a$$ up them. Love it

Hi Mike G in Connecticut, glad that you joined in with us here at BF. Just ride the wheels of the bike you have, those that judge you by your bike have too much time on their hands and/or too little common sense. Surf around the various forums and see which ones suit your needs and interests best. The Northeast Forum has others in your geographical area that are looking to set up rides and other cycling related events, drop in there and meet those near you.
