Looking into biking
been lurking for a couple of weeks now and have decided to jump in!
I'm 280 lbs and I've already lost 100lbs I am looking toward riding a bike for getting fit and to use my car less. I'm still a little too big for jogging (I tried it a few times and it's just too much pressure on my ankles right now) so riding seems like a great alternative.
Sup!

Welcome to BF! As 10Wheels suggested, definitely check out the Clyde/Athena forum. You'll find lots of kindred sprits and their stories there. Also... I think you're on the right track with not jogging. I'm a Clyde and the orthopedic surgeons who've done my knee surgeries, foot surgeries and hip replacement have been telling me to stick with walking, swimming and bicycling for years now. I don't know your story or particulars, but that advice might be good for you, too.
