hi from NYC
hi all
Been riding since i was a kid like i am sure most of us.
Recently got into restoring older bikes. pre 1960. Have amassed a small herd. nothing very rare or expensive, but things that i see as projects to make whole and usable again.
i'm still a newb in the field of old bikes, but i am learning fast, so please excuse the junior questions.

Welcome. The "Classic And Vintage" subforum is quite active on this board, you'll enjoy the wealth of information there-- the local favorite seems to be post war through 1980's classic road, touring, and randonneur bikes. NYC advocacy and safety issues come up in the Advocacy subforum all the time. I moved out of the city just before the bike lanes went in...!
Enjoy the forum and Welcome! Joe
