Kansas Newbie!
Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself as Tom said to in the email 
I am currently living in Shawnee, KS and going to school at KU in Lawrence, KS. I love riding my bicycle all over the town of Lawrence and enjoy living a pretty simple lifestyle.
I REALLY want to attempt a short tour sometime soon (maybe over winter break..), but that is what i am most interested in as far as bicycling goes. I am a huge fan of the outdoors and love to backpack and rock climb. I just finished the Colorado Trail this past summer and i can say it was the most rewarding thing i have done with my life so far.
Thanks for having such an awesome community of people who love bicycles as much as i do!
