Bikes: Trek 2100

Hi from Victoria, BC

Hi, new here, nice board. I've been a daily commuter for almost a year (MTB), just bought my first road bike, Trek 2100 with the Ultegra group. So far, lovin' it!!

Welcome, Looks like you've got some pretty nice weather over there right now. Lucky you.

Indeed. Went about 30 miles last week end in shorts and jersey, got a sunburn (and a flat ), not bad weather for the beginning of March!

Hey badhabit, welcome to forum...took me a while to utilise search...try 'victoria', 'vancouver' or 'Vancouver Island', works went to sleep listening to rain, wake up to this...3:25 now. Sunny cool breeze, gotta before the usual whether returns. I like trek's, sounds good.

talking of flats, since privatization, I have been getting more along the main routes, I pack 2 tubes, and a kit - maybe overkill...but I have had to use all of them on the Penninsula before.

Not liking the road, cars stink, are dangerous. Skinny tires? no.
