Howdy from Japan
HI all I'm an American stationed in Japan (just to not get anyones hopes up of an experienced Japanese national). Just getting into this biking ordeal again. My family grew up under a tradition of BMX racing mostly based out of Cali and Las Vegas so I've had some pedaling experience when I was younger. Dear ol Dad got back into cycling a few years back when he discovered MTBing and he even owns a road bike now for commuting to work. So after seeing how happy hes been and now being stationed in Japan where parking is a nightmare I recently purchased a Specialized crosstrail Sport Disc. I can't believe how I ever forgot just how enjoyable cycling is. I bought this particular bike because I've yet to know anyone whose had bad experience with specialized and it meets my needs for living out here with an expanding family. So soon I'll be placing a rear rack and baby seat for my 3 yr old to join me in exploring Iwakuni.
since everyone loves pictures
