past rider and getting back into the groove

Hey all, short intro, I'm 22 and I used to cycle over 120 miles every week in college. Had to sell my bike a few years ago and now I wanna get back into it all. Been looking at road bikes below $1200, any recommendations?

Welcome to BF! There are lots of bikes to choose from and as many opinions as there are cyclists. Do some info-gathering and window shopping at a good local bike shop. That should get you started on your hunt. Good luck.

Welcome to Bike Forums. Visit several bike shops and look at the different brands. You'll find several good road bikes that are under $1200. Have fun.

Just picked up a 2013 Specialized Allez Comp M2 with all kinds of stuff helmet and all for $1450. With only 4 miles on it I'm loving it so much so far. I'll post up a different thread with quality pics and a log of my rides.
