Hello from NM
Hello,
I'm from the scary place of Albuquerque where riders aren't exactly safe... I intend to keep to the bike trails and off the bike lanes though. I have a couple bikes, an old lotus road bike and a bike I just picked up which I'm currently trying to identify and believe to be a bianchi.
Looking forward to the knowledge here!
Eddie

I guess I just saw on the news a couple days ago that in just this month we had 2 cyclists killed and 2 injured all in separate vehicle/bike related incidents. And my dad was also hit in a hit and run, so I'm just leary I guess... Any ride suggestions?

Welcome Eddie. Do you ever ride on the Turquoise Trail? We ran into a group preparing for the Santa Fe century when we were out your way in 2010. Lovely area to ride.

However, there's a decent amount of roads that I will ride on. Tramway is popular, if you can stand the stop-and-go of the lights, and there's the Bosque Trail if you want to stay on a path and actually ride somewhere flat. I always see people heading up the canyon on 337, too.
Where in town are you? I'm up in Four Hill.
