Been riding about five years, just bought a tandem and my wonderful wife appears to have finally figured out why I enjoy it so much, even when it burns, Orlando is a great location for lots of riding opportunities.

Welcome! I'll be coming down to Orlando the middle part of April for a conference. Where are some of the great places to ride?

Try the West Orange Trail just outside Orlando, that will get you between 34 & 40 miles round trip and if you want to travel a bit try the Withlacoochee Trail That's 92 round trip, and General Van Fleet Trail at 60 miles RT.All are right off HWY 50 out of Orlando

Zack: I can't remember if I told you this earlier, but check out the website of the Florida Freewheelers at: https://www.floridafreewheelers.com/

They have some great rides, with great people. For example, yesterday I did the West Volusia Ramble with the "A" group. We had a great 44 mile hammerfest on beautiful rolling, trafficless terrain. Also the Windermere Roadies and the Orlando Road Club are all very active. There are trails everywhere. AAMOF, Orlando was recently voted the most bike friendly town in the USA.
