Hello BikeForums community! I've been trolling around here for a bit and decided today to make it official. I just started biking again a couple months ago (after a 15 year hiatus) when I moved into the city and started commuting by bike. When I bought my Trek 1000 aluminum at a bike swap in May i thought I'd just use to for commuting, but after about 1/4 mile into my first ride I realized I was hooked. I also just bought my girlfriend a mint old Lotus Prestige that I'm in the process of screwing up and fixing as I learn how to work on bikes. Overall, I'm realizing its an amazing activity and I'm so glad to have re discovered the joys of biking! I look forward to being part of this community and learning from all of the experienced riders here.
