Hi all from older roadie
Hey dig the forum..Was looking for help regarding roadie video cam. Looking for a rear view mounted camera for better info on my next cycle crash..etc.
Hope there isn't one, but if there is and I survive
would like to be sure I have a witness this time.
I'm an old roadie. Born in 1946 and been a club rider since about 1991. Competed in 40K time trials for a couple years Just average ability. No podium finishes in the NCNCA. But enjoyed training and competing as best I could do.
Don't know a thing about cycle mounted video cameras but want to get one that will film for at least 2 hours..or so.. if such exists..and don't plan to publish the videos or anything like that so not worried about issues along that line. Interested in either ability to directly upload all to cloud server as I ride or just save for later down load. If practical prefer uploading to cloud real time as I ride, but will take whatever is available that I can afford. I don't know anything about the subject.
Been looking at the Go Pro 3. And I suppose its the most expensive option but willing to spend whatever to get what I want.
Concerned a lot about mount to bike. See lots of various solutions and reviews and most don't like the Go Pro bike mounts.
Any help on that will be appreciated. I'll also post a thread on the camera subject.

Welcome to Bike Forums from a 69 y/o roadie. This is the Introductions forum. The folks in the Electronics, Lighting & Gadgets forum may be able to help. And perhaps the Road Cycling forum can offer some guidance.
