Hello!
Greetings! My wife and I currently reside in central Indiana and are getting back into riding after a 6 year hiatus. We did alot of cycling the first year we were married, but unfortunately we lost everything in a flood, including our bicycles (I really miss my Specialized Hardrock).. The last few months we have gotten back in the saddle and I realize, once again, how much I love to ride.
I was an avid rider as a kid, 20 mile round trips to the nearest town with a @#$-Mart was not unusual (On a Huffy Mountain Bike no less). This year is the first time I have ever owned road bikes; I'm in love! I had no idea what I was missing. My wife has a women's 2014 Giant Escape 3 and I have a 2014 Giant Escape 3 as well as a Vintage (late 80's) Miyata 512. I have to confess, the Miyata is by far the best/favorite bike I have ever owned.
I hope to make some new friends and gain some new insights through this forum. Currently (August 2014) I am riding in excess of 100 miles a week and hope to be well trained for the Hilly Hundred in October.
