Hello, please refer me to a subforum, if any

Hello,

I am 5'9" and 210 pounds, so, borderline obese.

I have a four year old son that I would really like to take camping. I love the idea of spending outdoors with my son.

I was planning on losing around 35 pounds to get into a better shape and being able to take him camping around the thanksgiving time.
I like biking and I think I have a TREK 7.1 or 7.2 hybrid bike that I use for my casual biking.
I hate to run on treadmill but, if that is what it will take to lose those pounds, then, so be it.
I also have free weights at home that I plan to incorporate into my regimen.

So, that leaves me with three months for getting in shape. I was wondering if there is any sub-forum for me to post, to get suggestions and advice and support.

Welcome aboard .

Two possible forums for you to poke around in are the Clydesdales and Athenas forum and the Training & Nutrition forum.

Oh, and 210 at 5'9" is hardly obese in my book

Welcome. You'll find lots of folks here have lost tons of weight thru cycling, including me (from 245# down to 180# in about a year).
Good luck.
