Hello from Helsinki, Finland.
I've ridden bikes all my life. Never owned a car. In Helsinki we have great public transportation, but bikes are my choice of getting around. Sadly most of the bikes I've owned have been stolen: That 80s Cresent I got from my dad, Dunlop Explorer some 20 years ago witch I loved and still miss, and most recently my customized Nirve Switchblade... There have been plenty of bikes on top of those, and some are still in use, like my 70s Czeck Eska or Finnish Helkama Jopo I originally bought for my daughter, but been using since she moved to Berlin.
Now I have my new bike love: 30s Hercules, Empire Club in it's original maroon paint job... Searching information about that actually lead me here. I'm gonna head now over to vintage section to get more info on it if possible.

Hi, Mikko! The folks in Classic & Vintage know a lot about old bikes, but 1930's bikes are pretty rare, at least in North America.

Hi Mikko and welcome. I just finished restoring my 30's Hercules and am also looking for more information on it. One thing I do know is it is a blast to ride. Good luck with yours.
